For once I wish.....

I wish I could fly
To a land far away
Where the sky is blue
And sun is bright
Birds chirp during the day
And stars shine through the night

I wish I could fly
To a land far away
Where the sea is green
And sand is white
I swim by the day
And dance in the moonlight

I wish I could fly
Away from the maddening crowd
Away from all the sounds so loud
Away from the choice between right and wrong
Away from pretending to be strong

For once I wish to think only for myself

I wish it’s just me and no one and nothing else.
